General warranty conditions

Please refer to the specific product warranty for additional limitations.

Please carefully read the following conditions, as they are affected by installation conditions. Canacoustics does not assume, and does not authorize anyone to assume or offer on its behalf, any other warranty obligation or liability.

Before installation, wall panels must be kept clean and dry, in a place where the temperature is controlled between the lower and upper limits mentioned below for fiberglass and mineral fiber products, and they must not be subjected to abnormal conditions. Installation of SoftTone, Sonoscreen, and other acoustic panels with the same composition should be carried out when the temperature is between 15 and 30°C (40 and 120°F). All wet works (plaster, concrete, etc.) must be completed and dry. These temperature and humidity conditions must be maintained throughout the warranty period. It is necessary for the section to be closed and for HVAC systems to be in continuous operation.

How to obtain service?

You must notify Canacoustics in writing of any product defect covered by this warranty within 30 days of the first observation of the defect, at the following address:

service@canacoustics.com

How does the law apply?

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, but you may have other rights that vary from province to province. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or the limitation of the duration of an implied warranty, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

What will Canacoustics do?

For all warranties, if Canacoustics confirms such a product defect, we will deliver, at our expense, FOB to the installation site, a new product of identical or similar type and quality, in a quantity equal to the determined defective section.

THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY IS THE SOLE OBLIGATION OF CANACOUSTICS AND THERE SHALL BE NO OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
